What would your 70 year old self tell you to change now, before it's too late?

Interests

Driven by a passion to help people exceed their best he has now turned his attention to the subject of longevity. John is now in his 70’s but his diet and exercise regime allow him to perform like the average 40 year old! His MHR
(maximum heart rate) and VO2 Max place him in the 95th percentile for his age and he believes that, with clear goals, and the right mindset, anyone can dramatically increase their health-span and live a longer, happier,
healthier life.
John says: ‘As we age our strength, speed and our ability to recover will deteriorate but with the right mindset and a commitment to good lifestyle choices, we can slow that deterioration. As we move into our 40’s, 50’s and 60’s, if we want to stay fit and healthy we must work smarter or we will suffer the consequences later in life.’ John speaks from personal experience, not from textbook theory: ‘I’m not a doctor, but being in my 70’s, I understand the age related deterioration we will all experience if we don't do something about it. We don’t have to run ultra marathons, eat like a mouse or spend hours and hours in the gym everyday. But we must adopt the right mindset and commit to some simple lifestyle changes, if we want to remain healthy in our later years.’

Speaking:
Through his dynamic, entertaining and humorous presentations John challenges, informs and inspires audiences with a simple but powerful message: ‘Anyone, of any age, can boost their energy levels and their performance, anyone can get in better shape, anyone can improve their
health and live longer. Most people understand the simple things they need to do but aren’t confident enough to try or lack the discipline to become consistent with their efforts.’ People who are in better shape are less stressed, more productive, perform better, suffer less from depression and live longer. Doesn’t that sound exactly what we would all like for ourselves?
