My professional journey has led me to work for the New Zealand School of Art and Fashion for two years before joining the Whitecliffe team as a Lecturer for Level 3 fashion, which lasted for one year.
My career path has evolved from a focus on sewing and pattern design to one of educating students with the knowledge I have acquired throughout my studies and experience.
My lifelong passion for fashion has been evident since childhood, and during my years of study, I successfully worked with clients and participated in fashion shows, gaining valuable experience as a Fashion Designer.
I have acquired a wealth of knowledge and experience in the field of fashion, having studied sewing and pattern making for a year and a half at Sewtec Fashion Academy, followed by a further three years of study in Invercargill, where I graduated from the Southern Institute of Technology with a Bachelor in Fashion (Design and Technology).
