Strength for the Home: More Than Just a Workout

Looking to level up as a man, a father, or a leader in your home? Join us every Monday night at the Tangaroa College Gym for a weekly session designed to build both physical power and mental fortitude.

"Strength for the Home" is a community-driven class focused on the fundamentals of the "Big Three"—Squat, Bench, and Deadlift. Whether you’re a seasoned lifter or picking up a barbell for the first time, you'll learn proper technique in a supportive environment.

But we don’t just leave it on the gym floor. Every session includes Talanoa, a space for "Real Talk" where we connect, share experiences, and discuss what it means to lead our families with heart.

Come for the gains, stay for the brotherhood. Whether you're a young man finding your way or a grandfather passing on wisdom, there is a spot on the platform for you. Let’s move with power and lead with heart.

Please note: All courses need a minimum number to go ahead. If your course does not have enough enrolments, we regret that we will have to cancel and will let you know by email - please check your emails, including your spam folder, regularly. Courses are usually cancelled, when necessary, 1-2 working days prior to the scheduled start date. Please ensure you are aware of our terms and conditions before completing your enrolment. Note there is NO refund if you cancel less than 5 working days in advance of a class starting.
