CHINESE COOKING – THE FLAVOURS OF ASIA

Want to make authentic Chinese cuisine?  Keen to ditch takeaways but still want a noodle fix?

Our course is inspired by Cantonese home cooking and will introduce you to mouthwatering dishes that are not on the menu at your local takeaway.  Master the basics of fried rice, fried noodles, spring rolls, dumplings and dim sum. 

Learn skills and techniques for preparing meat for stir-fries, for steaming fish, and fry the healthy way.  Leave each session with a meal to share with whānau (please bring a container).

 

Please note:

Completion of this course requires payment of an additional fee of $15.  This is payable direct to the tutor at the first session, and will cover the cost ingredients for the first session.  In addition to this payment, the course requires purchase of specific materials that are also not included in the advertised fee.  A list will be provided at your first session.

Please note: All courses need a minimum number to go ahead. If your course does not have enough enrolments, we regret that we will have to cancel and will let you know either by email or text. Courses are usually cancelled, when necessary, 1-2 working days prior to the scheduled start date.
