This programme aims to give the student artist skills and confidence to work independently as well as developing their own path of enquiry. It is process-based and embraces experimentation, fun and adventure. We start each session with an observational skills-based study then move on to concept development. Once each student artist has developed ideas that they are happy with, we will design a research path to further investigate the ideas. We will use a mix of media, 2D and 3D, depending on what direction the idea takes. So if you love art, want to learn formal skills,  are brave enough to take on a fine art methodology in the development of your ideas, and to discover new ideas – please join the group! No prior knowledge or experience of art is required.

Please note: All courses need a minimum number to go ahead. If your course does not have enough enrolments, we regret that we will have to cancel and will let you know either by email or text. Courses are usually cancelled, when necessary, 1-2 working days prior to the scheduled start date.
