Declutter Your Home, Clear Your Mind is a series of workshops designed to help you create a home that feels calm and clutter-free.
Over three Saturday mornings, you’ll be guided through a blend of mindset work and practical, step-by-step decluttering techniques. You will learn about different types of decluttering strategies and have time to explore what works best for you. During each session you will develop personalised plans for your own spaces, and between each session you will be able to put those plans into action. You will gain the confidence to make lasting changes. By the end of the course, you’ll not only see a visible transformation in your home but also feel more relaxed, focused, and in control. Course outline:
Each session will include time to learn new ideas and decide what suits you and your unique circumstances. We will track progress, answer any questions that may arise and celebrate successes. Personal preferences will always be taken into consideration and while there will be opportunities for participants to share and work with others, there will always be the option of not sharing if you do not want to. I will ensure that the learning space feels inclusive and safe for all participants.
Session 1: Laying the Foundation for a Clutter-Free Home Participants will start their decluttering journey by building the right mindset and understanding the emotional connections we have with our belongings. In this session, we’ll explore different decluttering methods and I will help participants identify which ones align with their lifestyle. I will include guided visualisations and practical exercises so that participants can start creating a personalised decluttering action plan that suits their home and needs. Each participant will leave the session with clear goals and the motivation to tackle their first decluttering project.
Session 2: Decluttering with Confidence During this session we will dive deeper into the decluttering process by addressing the emotional barriers that often hold us back. This session focuses on letting go of guilt, sentimental attachments, and fear of letting go. Participants will learn more advanced decluttering techniques and get support to revise and refine their action plans. There will be time for hands-on planning and real-life problem-solving, helping participants to overcome any barriers or challenges and gain confidence in making decisions about what stays and what goes.
Session 3: Creating and Maintaining a Clutter-Free, Intentional Home In the final session, we will focus on maintaining the progress participants have made and creating a sustainable clutter-free lifestyle moving forward. Participants will create simple, effective habits and routines to prevent clutter from creeping back in. Together, we’ll explore how a decluttered space can positively impact other areas of their life, such as relationships, productivity, and overall wellbeing. Participants will also develop a personalised maintenance plan and have the option to continue connecting with the supportive community developed during the sessions to help them stay on track after the workshop ends.
