Come along and play chess! All skill levels welcome.

This will be a two hour class with one hour focused on techniques and skills and the second hour for a practice game and a tournament game. The class will begin with showing a classical game from world chess championship games or world's top grand master games. The analysis will cover opening principles, middle game tactics and endgame techniques. There will also be lessons for openings methods, endgame principles, mating patterns, attack and defense using a wall hanging chess board.

Standard chess sets for students to use will be available so just bring yourself or a friend and come along! 

Philip Mukkattu is a certified to train at the proficiency level of National Instructor 2022/2023 by International Chess Federation FIDE
