Come along and learn the art of crochet! Combine colours and textures in different ways to make an item of beauty.

This course is just as suitable for absolute beginners, or those who learnt some time ago and want a refresher course. The course will be taught using NZ/Aus/UK terminology.

It will introduce the basic skills and foundation knowledge required to learn the skill of crochet. It will include instructions and guidance on how to craft the five fundamental stitches (chain stitch, double crochet, half treble, treble and slip stitch), read patterns and technical knowledge such as UK vs American stitch names, yarn tension, crocheting styles and adjustable rings. You will make a series of small projects designed to allow you to practise your developing skills.

Crochet will help you reduce stress, keep your mind active and be more creative in your daily life.
