Learn the fundamentals of upholstery by attending this beginners class for those who have a small item wanting refurbishment.  Our tutor is an experienced upholsterer and all the basics will be covered in this stage one class.  Strict requirements on the size of the item so no large chairs please.  Please bring piece of furniture or project first night.  There is no storage so any furniture will need to be taken home after each class. You should be able to carry it by yourself to and from the workshop. 

What does it mean a "beginner project?" - It is a project that requires no or minimum sewing and involves stripping, assessing (taking measurements), cutting and fitting. 

Tools for beginners:  one pair scissors about 20 cm long, one tape measure metal spring load, one pen ink, one pen felt, one flat blade screw driver, small hammer, diagonal pliers, staple gun and a craft knife.
