Want to develop your sewing skills? Caught the sewing bug over lockdown? Need help achieving a more professional finish? Wanting to finish those pesky projects that lurk in your cupboard? Don’t have the confidence to make a pair of jeans but have the pattern and fabric? Then these freestyle sewing workshops are for you!
This course is open to anyone who has the basics of sewing (eg ideal if you have completed a 'Sewing For Beginners' class) and would like to develop your skills through projects, with personal guidance from our experienced tutor.
This is a social and totally flexible course for you to explore creative ideas and free your style!
Skill level required:
If you have completed a beginners sewing course or feel comfortable sewing simple garments, then this is the course for you.
What's Included:
Eight classes of two hours each week (total of 16 hours).
Access to expertise from our experienced tutor who makes all her own clothes.
Chance to meet and get to know like-minded creatives.
What You Will Need:
Your choice of project to work on. (You will need your own pattern, fabric etc)
Your own sewing machine (some available for loan each evening), buttons, zippers etc and sewing kit.
Don’t forget to bring what you will need on the first day.
Please note this is NOT a pattern making course.
