This workshop is designed to give beginners the skills to draw in pencil, charcoal and ink in a social and relaxed environment. The tutor will lead you through fun exercises to break down anything into simple units and build it up with tone and detail for still life, flora/fauna, portraiture and basic perspective. Each session will focus on a different theme, providing a wide range of techniques to raise confidence and enhance visual awareness. The drawing skills that you will learn include: scale, proportion, measurement, line, tone, texture.

You may also bring your own personal drawing project and have a one-on-one guidance from the tutor.

Fees do not include materials. A list of materials required will be sent once the course is confirmed to start.
